Why the list is short

GamesWorthTheTime began with a simple filter: would we tell a friend this game is worth an evening? Plenty of browser games are fine. Only a few make the cut, and four is enough to describe properly.

What makes a game worth the time

It has to start in a normal browser tab and cost nothing to begin. The paid parts have to be extras, not a wall. And it has to be clear how much of your week the game expects, because a war campaign that runs for a month is a different commitment to a ten-minute tank match.

What we don't do

We don't make, host or sell games. We have no connection with casinos, betting or real-money gaming and never write about them. We aren't a support or counselling service either; the play smart page has practical tips and nothing more.

Screenshots

Game images are screenshots that each developer publishes for its own game, cropped to remove menus and player names. The developer is named under every image, and the image always sits next to a link to that same game.

Money

Some game links are referral links. If one earns us a payment, that keeps the site running. A game with no referral deal can still be listed, and one with a good deal can still be removed.

Corrections

Games change their shops and features from time to time. Tell us through the contact form or at [email protected] and we will update the card.
